Our Story

BauderEntertainment, owned and operated by 16-year-old Brody Bauder, is Redding, CA's premier DJ entertainment service, bringing high-energy music, professional sound, and unforgettable experiences to events across the community. While Brody is the visionary and the one in charge, he’s not alone in making his dreams a reality. His parents have supported him from the ground up, encouraging his passion and helping him build the business step by step as it continues to grow. Their belief in him and their willingness to help behind the scenes have allowed Brody to pursue his dream of running his own entertainment company at a young age.

 

Brody's journey with BauderEntertainment is deeply rooted in personal loss, inspiration, and faith. At just 10 years old, he had a dream of creating a thrilling haunted house. His older brother Blake, who was his closest confidant, promised that together they would turn that dream into reality, saying they'd get rich and build an incredible haunted house. Tragically, Blake passed away at a young age due to struggles with drugs. Losing his brother was one of the most difficult moments of Brody’s life, but it also strengthened his faith and his determination to keep moving forward. Through that difficult time, Brody leaned on his relationship with God, trusting that God had a plan for his life and that his brother’s memory could continue to inspire something meaningful.

 

For several years, Brody honored Blake’s memory by creating haunted house experiences and bringing excitement to the community during Halloween. Those early projects helped him learn creativity, leadership, and how to organize large events. While those haunted house events were an important part of his journey, Brody eventually discovered that his true passion was DJing and entertaining crowds through music. The energy of a dance floor, the excitement of a crowd, and the ability to bring people together through music became the heart of what BauderEntertainment would become.

 

Today, Brody focuses purely on DJ entertainment. From school dances and weddings to private parties and community events, he brings professional sound systems, lighting, and energy that keeps people on the dance floor all night long. His parents continue to support him every step of the way, helping behind the scenes and encouraging his drive to build something meaningful. Brody also strives to run his business in a way that reflects his Christian values, treating clients with honesty, respect, and gratitude while always remembering the blessings that allowed him to start his business.

 

With his family’s unwavering support, his strong relationship with God, and Blake’s memory as his driving force, Brody is building BauderEntertainment into something truly special for the Redding community. What started years ago with haunted house creativity has grown into a full-scale DJ entertainment service dedicated to music, energy, and unforgettable events. Every performance is an opportunity to bring people together, create lasting memories, and continue growing toward an even bigger future for BauderEntertainment while honoring the people and faith that helped make it all possible.
